THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I have a special interest in working with adults and couples. As we collaborate, I will help navigate anxiety and depressive symptoms, marital and relationship issues, healthy boundaries, organize and prioritize confusion and disorder, and identify what causes feeling stuck. I know it can feel daunting to talk about your mental health and struggles in your marriage or relationships. I understand. As a person-centered therapist, I will listen to what your needs and strengths are and this will help drive your therapeutic work. Evidence-based modalities are integrated such as Life Span Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. You will learn and apply practical strategies that best support and empower you in your journey of healing.

 

Experiencing worries, ruminating thoughts, feeling stuck, relationship issues, and navigating marital struggles can be a part of our lives. However, when they are persistently overwhelming and we lack tools and resources to manage them, it can begin to affect our lives and relationships with others. My desire is to help people navigate these issues and instill hope that leads them on the path toward healing and positive life-giving change.
