THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I have a special interest in working with adults and couples. We will collaborate and navigate anxiety and depressive symptoms, marriage and relationship issues, codependency and healthy boundaries, organize and prioritize confusion and disorder, and identify what causes feeling stuck. I know it can feel daunting to talk about your mental health and struggles in your marriage or relationships. I understand. As a person-centered therapist, I will listen to what your needs and strengths are and this will help drive your therapeutic work. Evidence-based modalities are integrated such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. You will learn and apply practical strategies that best support and empower you in your journey of healing.
 
Experiencing worries, ruminating thoughts, feeling stuck, relationship issues, and navigating marital struggles can be a part of our lives. However, when they are persistently overwhelming and we lack the tools and resources to manage them, they can begin to affect our lives and relationships with others. My desire is to help people navigate these issues and instill hope that leads them on the path toward healing and positive life-giving change.
