THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I am a person-centered psychotherapist, so you and I will collaborate and navigate together the concerns and goals you have for therapy. I will listen to what your needs and strengths are as this will help drive your therapeutic work. Evidence-based modalities are integrated such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy as well as embedded Internal Family Systems. You will learn and apply practical strategies that best support and empower you in your journey of healing.
 
Experiencing worries, ruminating thoughts, feeling stuck, relationship issues, and navigating marital struggles can be a part of our lives. However, when they are persistently overwhelming and we lack the tools and resources to manage them, they can begin to affect our lives and relationships with others. My desire is to help you navigate these issues and instill hope that leads you on the path toward healing and positive life-giving change.
